during my stay, I was thrilled to find incredible dining options just steps away, with Nasi Ganja Ipoh and Big Mom Beancurd close by, and I loved that I could enjoy leisurely walks to landmarks like St Michael's Church and the charming Guan Yin Temple within easy reach.

Staying here was a delight, especially since it’s just a short walk to both the old and new towns. The spacious Bedrock Family room provided everything we needed and more, with a lovely touch of comfort. What really stood out was the convenient on-demand breakfast that catered to our tastes, offering both Asian and Western options. It’s also close to some amazing eateries – the famous Woong Kee bean curd stall is just around the corner!

The room was a very good size for a boutique hotel with a king-size bed and a unique in-room instant cold and hot water dispenser.

I was quite disappointed with the breakfast options. Though it was nice to have an inclusive breakfast, the Western meal was quite basic, and I didn't receive the nasi lemak I was promised. The owner, while polite, seemed somewhat introverted and not very welcoming at checkout, which added to my irritation about the overall experience.

When we arrived, the owner Debbie greeted us with such warmth, it felt like home! Not to mention the Nespresso machine in the room was a game changer for our mornings, and I even asked about the hot water dispenser.

It wasn’t cheap, but I would say the experience was worth it.

Just a commendable fit for a two-day stay in Ipoh with good value. The breakfast options were fresh and prepared to order. Be mindful of noisy common areas during peak times.

staying at the bedrock was great! the duplex family suite was spacious and clean, perfect for my family. we loved exploring the nearby shops and food spots, which were just around the corner. the staff, especially debbie, went above and beyond to help us every day. the recreational opportunities offered here were also a really nice touch.

Comfortable room, modern amenities, with free Wi-Fi that made our stay convenient, and the electric kettle allowed us to enjoy hot beverages at any time.

There are no pools or gym facilities.

Debbie was fantastic in helping us navigate Ipoh! Our family of five adults enjoyed the Duplex Family suite, which provided ample space and comfort. The location was ideal, allowing us to explore local eateries like Woong Kee bean curd, all within walking distance.

My kids wished for more breakfast options.
